BRANWYN was founded with the simple idea to support women always, in all ways. We know that high-performance underwear makes it easier to achieve athletic dreams—and conquering our goals powers our ambition so we can build a better future for ourselves, each other, and Mother Earth.
Our designer Shawna set out to find a pair of underwear made from natural fibers that she would actually want to wear while exercising.
But as she searched, Shawna realized that her perfect pair might not exist.
The only options she could find were bad-for-the-planet polyester-cotton options that would get soggy in no time flat, or styles that just weren’t cut in a way that allowed a woman’s body to move.
It took two years of research and development and countless prototypes before she and her technical designer (who moonlights as her mom!) struck gold in a seamless blend of Merino wool, nylon, and elastane.
