Kaden Apparel is designed specifically for the dynamic needs of today’s woman cyclist. We know what female bikers want, because we ourselves are women cyclists. Our team has worked to develop a line of apparel that will keep you cool, dry, comfortable, and most importantly, looking good.
We are proud to offer a line of women’s cycling clothing, designed specifically for cross-country, enduro, and gravel riding. Each piece is specially developed for the woman cyclist, taking into consideration the quality, fit, and high level of performance that women should expect from their clothing.
The idea for Kaden Apparel began in 2013 in Burlington, Vermont.
Chelsea Camarata’s passion for biking began many years earlier — the idea for the brand was born out of her frustration with the selection, or lack thereof, of women’s mountain bike clothing. The necessity for high-quality, ladies specific bike clothing, that is both functional and fashionable, was apparent. Chelsea began designing, prototyping, and testing her hand-made garments with some old sewing machines in her dining room. After many rounds of pattern adjustments and fabric testing, she eventually got her designs to the level of quality she was looking for. With momentum from a successful Kickstarter campaign, she began working with an American manufacturing facility to produce the first run of jerseys in the fall of 2017.
What sets Kaden apart is its specially developed fits that are designed to move with a woman’s body when she’s riding, 4-way stretch, moisture wicking fabrics that keep riders cool and dry, and casual styles that help women stand out for being the badass riders they are, rather than for their cutesy flower shirts.
