Miss Mayfly

Miss Mayfly was founded in 2016 by Kimberly Ranalla a female angler who struggled to find gear that fit, performed & looked flattering. In 2014, Kimberly suffered multiple spinal injuries during an assault which interrupted her previous career path and led her on a new journey. The injuries prevented Kimberly from enjoying many of her usual activities and hobbies until a friend introduced her to river fishing. The first time she stepped foot in the water, she became obsessed. Not only did she fall in love with fishing, it became Kimberly's therapy and route to a new and improved life.
Kimberly was later inspired to create Miss Mayfly when she could not find gear that would fit her or her adult daughter whom she wanted to enjoy the activity with. To solve this problem, Kimberly created Miss Mayfly, a line of color-coordinating fishing gear products made exclusively for women.
