Possum Jump Adventures
…outdoor excitement that's a whole different animal
Possum Jump Adventures is the south’s happiest outdoor experience company. From adventure races to private tours to outdoor festivals, our mission is to bring you the best our region has to offer… and have the most fun possible while doing it.
Ready to join the fastest growing sport in the world? Adventure Racing stirs together cycling, paddling and trekking – with a dash of orienteering – to become a breathless race against the clock to cover ground and get points.
Or maybe you need something more specific? Dreaming of a private tour of Georgia’s wine country by bike? How about spicing up your corporate summit with a custom adventure trek? Have a festival, race or multi-day event that needs management? Click the “Contact” tab to design the experience of a lifetime.
Does live music make your heart race? Ours, too. Twice a year Possum Jump hosts the Summersweet Music Fest, a multi-day music festival under the southern stars. Our spring festival is in May in Atlanta and then we turn it up to eleven in December, in Georgia’s most iconic city, Savannah.
Need to catch your breath? Our Fresh Air Film Fest will play in five southern cities as we take you on a lighthearted journey through 8 short films about the joy of getting outside. Catch us in Atlanta, Savannah, Chattanooga, Birmingham, and Clearwater for the most fun you can have sitting down!
After 18 years in production management for television advertising, Tracey Brower decided she never wanted to hear the words “inconsistent with the brand profile” in a meeting again, and started looking for an exit.
One appeared when a local event promoter – about to be featured in Amazon Prime’s “World’s Toughest Race” with Bear Grylls – offered her the chance of a lifetime: build up their company as the (wo)man behind the curtain, as their team competed on the national stage.
Three years later, having taken the group from four annual races to twelve, and completely addicted to the adrenaline rush of live events, it was time for another change. Armed only with a notebook full of scribbles and simmering ideas, she stepped down to create her own mad laboratory, on a mission to get people outside having fun.
