Plant-Based: our disposal bags are made with plant-based materials that are renewable, may be regrown repeatedly, and can be consumed by microorganisms that naturally occur in our soils.
All of this started with one woman’s dream to create something more intentional than toilet paper for discarding menstrual items. Her desire to do good for people, communities and the environment shaped the company that we are today. MaskIT gives us a platform to address women’s health issues, normalize menstruation, educate and empower women of all ages, as well as team up with non-profits like OneTreePlanted. We are so grateful for our amazing customers, and for the support from organizations who believe in what we are doing.
It wasn’t that long ago that I stood in my kitchen with Glad Press & Seal, a pair of scissors, scotch tape, and an idea. Taking that idea from my head and making homemade prototypes marked the beginning of my incredible journey.
